POLAR DC-M + BD – single-blank die cutter with inline banding unit (2019)

Description

POLAR DC-M – single-blank die-cutting machine with inline POLAR BD banding unit. This configuration is designed for processing small paper blanks and subsequently forming and banding stacks. The DC-M uses a hydraulically operated cutting ram with manual stack feeding; the downstream POLAR BD bands the processed stacks inline. Equipment listed in the original HEIDELBERG specification: • POLAR DC-M single-blank die cutter • POLAR BD inline banding unit with 20 mm band width • Universal changeover frame • 1,000 × 1,000 mm air-cushion packing table • 750 × 250 mm air-cushion packing table Technical details from manufacturer documentation (depending on material and configuration): • Minimum blank size: 20 × 40 mm (DC-M) • Maximum blank size: 170 × 210 mm • Die-cutting output: approx. 8–12 cycles/min • Maximum stack height before cutting: 165–205 mm, depending on material and setup • POLAR BD bander: approx. 19 cycles/min (manufacturer specification) • Band width: 20 mm These details describe the configuration specified in the October 2018 technical quotation.
